The jury is in. Stress will kill ya. In fact, research shows that 60-80% of illnesses are directly caused or exacerbated by the stress response. Back pain, teeth grinding, depression and digestive issues are only minor aspects of what stress can do to your body. Makes you rethink how you handle situations, doesn't it?
(Watch my video called, "How to Relax Your Mind and Calm Your Body" on deep breathing.)
The symptoms of stress can include emotional mood swings, reduced sleep and appetite (leading to nutritional deficiencies) and impaired concentration and thinking. If you are experiencing these, then you are probably suffering from stress. You know that this is an important topic, no matter who you are, but how much thought have you really given it? If you can reduce stress, you can prevent an early demise.
My Stressful Situation
To tell you the truth, when I was younger (in middle school and high school), I suffered from an amazing amount of stress. School and me just didn't mix, and it was playing out in the most horrible ways with my health. I almost didn't make it the stress was so bad, so I realize what health effects are associated with it. I would NEVER wish what I went through for anyone.
Is stress always a bad thing? No, good stress, or eustress, can help motivate you toward completing a project or thinking on your feet. It's the repeated instances of stress that can cause problems and lead to illness in the long run.

Even if you don't experience stress often, it might be a good idea to take steps in order to reduce future stressful situations, and to learn how to use your own mind to handle these situations. Stress and anxiety or NOT things you want to have swimming around your body and your mind, so find techniques to handle them effectively is incredibly important.
Stress Hypnosis
With hypnosis for stress, I like to use an extremely powerful trance induction that helps your body relax completely, and helps you free your mind from all things. It's an amazing experience. Also, I like to use certain NLP pattern techniques, as well as time line therapy that will help you instill certain techniques that will activate your mind to help reduce stress in your body effectively.
If you are wanting to use hypnotherapy for stress, anxiety, PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), etc., to experience amazing stress relief, either in the workplace, school or at home, then you might have found one program that can save your life. Finding natural stress relief can be a challenge at times, but there is one area that has been proven to work to help you completely manage your stress, and that is hypnosis.
(Here's a study I found showing that high levels of stress can prevent women from getting pregnant!)
A friend of mine used my own program for stress (as he was trying to study for a really challenging exam), and said after he listened to the hypnosis CD, he felt the stress release from himself, almost in one big breath. He couldn't believe that something he suffered from his whole life (he always suffered from anxiety) could be handled with these techniques. He now listens to the program before every test, and has confidence in himself. Did I mention he is one of my favorite friends? :)
Stress and Your Health
Stress has a lot of nasty side effects. From elevating your blood sugar to suppressing immune function, to raising blood pressure and increasing heart attack risk, stress is a very important thing to have out of your body (if only on occasions). If there is anything that is valuable to me it is my health, which is why I regularly do self hypnosis, meditation and yoga to handle life's challenges effectively.
Meditation and Stress
With hypnosis, stress reduction is cleared away much easier than with something like meditation. Meditation is something that I believe should be practiced regularly, however it doesn't get to the core issue of the problem. Some people are stressed out or anxious about a particular area in their life, but meditation won't address it.
Meditation will only allow you to clear your mind for that moment in time. What do you think happens once you leave that meditated state, and go out in your life? That problem will just come back. If you are wanting to address the true cause of your anxiety or stress, and to help prevent it from coming back, you must find ways of effectively training your mind to handle it.
There are many ways to release stress, but the most successful method by far (and I'm not just saying this because I am a hypnotist) is hypnosis. Again, scientific studies have shown it to be very effective in stress reduction, as it utilizes deep breathing, visualization, time line therapy and other stress reductions techniques that help you home in on the problem, and then release it forever. Wouldn't you like to live stress free?
If you are wanting to experience a stress free way of life, and want to remove stress from your life forever, then why not try hypnosis? It only takes minutes a day to quickly develop a lasting change in your subconscious, so you can deeply embed a new way of thinking, a new way of looking and reacting to challenges and will help you in promoting good health and wellness. It's your body, and your life--you know it's time for a change. Even if you don't suffer from anxiety or stress, this program will help you develop the strategies for effectively coping with those rocky times, and will help move you toward a calmer, peaceful life. Peace out...
